Ce site présente les photos de Hongrois vivant à Paris entre les années 1940 et 1960. Notre but est de mieux comprendre la richesse des échanges culturels et d’identifier les personnes figurant sur les photos, ainsi que l’année à laquelle elles ont été prises.

This site displays photos of Hungarians in Paris between the 1940s and the 1960s. Our goal is to better understand the richness of that cultural legacy, and to identify the people and the year in which the picture was taken.

1 & 2 = Dr. Endre/Bandi Réti (doctor) & Raymonde Réti, 3 = Sándor Hajdu (sculptor, but NOT Étienne Hajdu), 6 = Károly Perczel (architect), 8 = André Nejavits (architect), 9 = Éva Kepes (artist), 10 = Péter Mod (resistance fighter/diplomat) 12 = József Strémi (resistance fighter/artist) , 14 = Ervin Marton (resistance fighter/artist-photographer), 15 = Vilma Ligeti (writer/music teacher).
Most likely in 1940 (but please contribute whatever you know!)
